Privacy Notice
In accordance with the Federal Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Individuals Act (the “Act”) and its regulations, following is a copy of our privacy notice, with the purpose of guaranteeing the privacy and safekeeping of the data of our clients, suppliers and employees.
Who is responsible for protecting personal data
Grande Carrión, S.C. (hereinafter “CG”), whose address is Avenida Patriotismo 201, Piso 4, Oficina 470, Colonia San Pedro de los Pinos, Demarcación Territorial Benito Juárez, Mexico City, is responsible for compiling and protecting your personal data and for the use to which it is put.
Purpose of handling your personal data
Your data may be used for the following main purposes:
- Identifying and contacting clients, suppliers and employees
- Opening files on clients, prospective clients, suppliers, prospective suppliers, employees and prospective employees
- Entering information on our electronic systems
- Submitting service offers
- Rendering services engaged
- Invoicing, payment and collection
- Access control and security on our premises
- Meeting our legal obligations with the authorities
- Engaging the products and services of CG
- Meeting our obligations with our clients, suppliers and employees
- Formalizing contracts or other documents for rendering professional services or procuring products or services
- Checking the qualifications and working experience of our employees or prospective employees
- Evaluating job applications according to our selection process
Secondary purposes
Your data may also be used to:
- Evaluate the quality of our services
- Send invitations to events organized by CG or those in which it is involved
- Inform you of our publications
- Promote our products and services, contact you and hold events for marketing, publicity or business prospecting purposes
- Keep your data on our database for future employment or supply opportunities
- Share information with third parties when they ask for potential employees our suppliers
If you do not wish for your data to be used for any of these secondary purposes, you may exercise this right by sending an e-mail to contacto@cg-abogados.com.mx stating that your do not wish for you data to be used for any or all of these purposes. Your data will stop being used from the moment you advise us.
Not giving your consent for your data to be used for these secondary purposes does not mean that you will be refused any services and/or products you request or engage.
Personal data compiled
CG requires the following data for the purposes mentioned above:
- Contact details: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, company and position
- Invoicing details: name or corporate name, tax address, tax number, bank account details and manner of payment
- Legal information: legal acts formalized, legal proceedings and related information
- Health information of employees or prospective employees
- Third-party information: references provided by employees or prospective employees
If further information is compiled, it will be handled as mentioned herein.
Sensitive personal information
CG is aware that the data it asks its clients and suppliers to provide are not considered as sensitive personal information, as established by law.
Confidentiality
CG will keep all data compiled as strictly confidential, even after the relationship with their owner has ended. Furthermore, it will not sell, assign or transfer your data to third parties without your prior consent, unless required by law.
ARCO rights and cancellation of consent
You may exercise your Access, Rectification, Cancelation and Opposition (ARCO) rights regarding your personal data by sending us a request with the following information:
- Name and address of owner or any other place to which we may reply
- Documents that prove the identity of the owner or of his/her legal representative
- A clear and accurate description of the personal data on which any right is to be exercised
- Any other details that will make it easier to locate the personal data in question

Transfers for which consent is not needed
CG may transfer your personal data without your consent under any of the circumstances established in Article 37 of the Act. You give your consent so that we may transfer your data to parties who work with us, in order to accomplish the purposes established herein.
Security measures when handling personal data
CG has introduced technical, administrative and physical security measures to protect the integrity of your personal data it compiles, to prevent them being damaged, lost, altered, destroyed or used without authorization. Nevertheless, no transfer made over the Internet is entirely secure and the firm does not guarantee that transfers will be free of all risk. Only authorized staff that meets confidentiality requirements may handle your personal data. The confidentiality obligation remains in full force and effect even after you relationship with CG has ended.
Changes to the privacy notice
In accordance with the Act, failure to declare your opposition to the privacy notice will be understood as your tacit acceptance of it. CG reserves the right to amend its terms and conditions by publishing a notice on its web site at cg-abogados.com.mx
The privacy notice is governed by the Act, its regulations and all other applicable laws in Mexico and acceptance hereof implies that you expressly submit yourself to the courts of Mexico City should any dispute arise.
